The High Elves, or the Asur, as they call themselves, are one of the most ancient and powerful mortal civilisations within the Warhammer World.
The Northstar is one of the most common symbols of the High Elves of Ulthuan Give no thought to failure, nor defeat – we are the Children of Ulthuan and we shall prevail."
Our armies are the finest in creation swift where our foes are lumbering, cultured where they are barbaric. She is found by the police afterwards and grows up to remember her time there in the fractured nature you see (and play it in)." We are the chosen of Asuryan, beloved of the gods and heirs to the world. Jennifer lashes out at Wendy in a rage, in the presence of the other girls, shaming Wendy into running away from the orphanage, after which she goes back to Gregory Wilson's house, disguised as Joshua where she manipulates him into killing the children at the orphanage (though it's not clear if this was her intention) leaving only Jennifer as the survivor. In anger she convinces the Aristocrat Club to kill Brown. Jennifer eventually finds a puppy she names Brown and Wendy becomes jealous of all the time Jennifer is now spending with Brown instead of her. Wendy called Jennifer "her prince" because of her boyish appearance at the time and agreed to help her escape and brought Jennifer back to the orphanage with her, the two swearing to be forever best friends and companions. Jennifer was then discovered by Wendy, a girl from a nearby orphanage and the who began exchanging letters and notes. Jennifer and her family were on an airship which crashed in the countryside, leaving her the only survivor she was rescued by Gregory Wilson, a solitary pea-farmer who then used Jennifer as a replacement for his son Joshua (who either recently died or never existed) and had her wear boys' clothes and keep short hair and wouldn't let her leave. The wonderful folks at Rule of Rose Mysteries have done excellent work compiling all the object interaction quotes, all the optionalcharacter moments, all the hidden documents and even unused sound clips for those of you wanted to know what the story was.įor the short version, most of the content of the game is framed in Jennifer's memories of her time in and before the orphanage - you'll notice that certain people (who she presumably interacted with less) are presented as less than fully interacting people - for example, the boys, who she just remembers stickfighting, the older Clara and so forth.
Rule of Rose Mysteries for all the hidden exposition and plot that should have been hidden so much I assume that they will be putting up the final part they recorded after someone tells them they didn't actually beat the game before too long, but since they told the audience it was over, I assume some of you might be a little confused (especially since Pat and Matt spend the whole overlooking the existence of Wendy, the Sickly Princess - who is arguably the most important character). The plot of the game is not laid out very well and a good 60% of the exposition and character moments are hidden and optional (for example there are at least 4 diaries/journals in the game they never found) and a lot of the character specific moments happen in particular rooms in particular months that you have no reason to go to. I don't blame Pat and Matt for not following the plot - I had to get some outside direction after I beat too it to put it all together. I first got interested in (and heard for the first time) Rule of Rose from its initial appearance on Shitstorm 2 and played it to completion in between that time and when the revisited it in Shitstorm 3.
